Pan Grilled Chicken

Chicken Cutlets can be chicken breasts or chicken legs, which is more flavourful.


  • 2 large chicken cutlets, skin-on & deboned
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter


  1. Put the chicken leg between 2 sheets of cling wrap or in a plastic bag, roll over it with a rolling pin or pound it to make the meat thinner and more uniform in thickness.
  2. Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika. Set aside in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a hot frying pan, add the chicken with the skin-side down. Cook for 6 minutes over medium high heat. When the skin of the chicken turns golden brown, flip the chicken. Add in the butter and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a plate and served with mushroom sauce or black pepper sauce on top. If you want to serve later, cover the plate with a foil to keep the food warm.
