Honey Soy Chicken

If you like sticky chicken wings, you may want to prepare a sauce using both honey and soy sauce and pour over the cooked chicken before serving.


  • 500g mid-joint chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbdp honey
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. Marinate the chicken wings with light soy sauce, honey and paprika. Leave it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with aluminium foil.
  3. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking. Bringing it up to room temperature will help it to cook evenly. Place them on the baking tray. Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the chicken and back into the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the skin turn golden brown.
