How much water to add depends on the type of chrysanthemum flower you buy. I bought the chrysanthemum flowers from Hockhua Tonic 福華補品 and they taste stronger, so I add in more water.
- 15g dried chrysanthemum flowers, wash & drain
- 500ml water
- 2 tbsp sugar or 1 tbsp honey
Bring the water to a boil. Then add in the chrysanthemum flowers, cover the pot and simmer for 15 minutes. At the 10 minutes mark, add in 2 tablespoon of sugar or more if you prefer sweet.
The tea can be served warm or cold.
